Voodoo Doughnut- Eugene, OR location

Although I am a huge doughnut fan, I had no intentions of giving in to my sweet tooth while visiting Oregon until my friends and I stumbled upon a Voodoo Doughnut in the middle of Eugene. One friend, Kim, insisted I get one. Sure, why not, but I’m only going to take one bite, I said. As displayed in the video below, the variety of options were endless! However, I have a thing for bacon on top of maple glazed doughnuts so deciding was not tough for me. Remember, I said I was only going to take one bite right? Well fast forward 5 minutes and the doughnut was almost gone! It was literally finger licking good! The dough melted in my mouth, the maple contained the perfect amount of sweetness, and the bacon was still slightly crunchy. YUMMMM! I truly thank the two friends Kenneth “Cat Daddy” and Tres (cool names!) for staying true to their dream and embarking on the journey of Voodoo Doughnut (originated in Portland). Now I just need to find my way back to the West Coast so I can have another… or two… or ten!
