What to eat while in Iceland

That is a good question! Or better yet, what food items is Iceland known for? As many of you may have noticed, we have been giving sneak peeks inside of our Icelandic food experiences on social media. Heading to Dallas? Three types of restaurants you must try!

For many years, I’ve wanted to travel to Texas. I’d heard so much about the vibes… the scenery… the people… and most importantly…the food! A few weeks ago, I finally had the chance. My first time stepping foot in the southern state was in the beautiful DALLAS! What a great first Texas city to visit, right?! Although there was much to see, my goal was conquering the food scene. If you live in or have researched Dallas, you will see they are known for many types of food.

A walk through OTR with Cincinnati Food Tours

I have lived in Cincinnati for most of my life and really thought I knew and understood the history and stories behind many of the restaurants and parts of town. After completing my first Cincinnati Food Tour adventure, I realized there was a lot I didn’t know about this great city! Cincinnati Food Tours is a walking tour founded by Barb Cooper in 2012. Her vision was to share her love for Findlay market, food, and Cincinnati neighborhoods. There are a variety of $50 tours to choose from, which focus on savory eats, sweet eats, or both! I opted for the Over The Rhine (OTR) savory tour, lasting about 3 hours with multiple stops. Read more

Experience the 2017 Cincinnati Food and Wine Classic

Surprisingly, I never attended the annual Cincinnati Food and Wine Classic, but have always heard great things about it. When promotions began for the 2017 edition, I absolutely knew I was going to make it. The event was 2 days of deliciousness. I attended all day Saturday, broken into day and night events. Located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, Boca is often found at the top of the list for best restaurants in the city. I was finally able to see why.
