We all scream for…

ICE CREAM!!!  Is there really anything better than a couple of scoops on a hot summer day?? I think not! Although I know you can get great ice cream in many cities, I’d like to honor Cincinnati by featuring both Graeter’s and King’s Island.

Graeter’s was originated in Cincinnati and has been going strong for over 145 years!!! No matter what area you reside in or visit, you are not far from a Graeter’s, as they quickly expanding throughout Cincinnati and surrounding cities. Not only do they have multiple,  handcrafted flavors of ice cream to choose from; they also have delicious cakes, cookies, & pies. My favorites are the chocolate chip cookie dough, buckeye, and peanut butter chip. To. Die. For!

Ok, I know I have been adult for a long time, but every time I am at King’s Island, I have to wander into kiddie land to get my cherished blue ice cream, or Smurf as it’s “formally” called. It is a true classic for us Cincinnatians. As you can see, they offer plain vanilla, plain blueberry, or swirl. It is a requirement for me to get the swirl and as a true child would, add the sprinkles! :)
